Jaylor 5425

Jaylor 5425, one of the most popular machines on the market and well suited for herd size of 275 or 550 with split herds. This is the most cost effective method of feeding and maximizing the use of the machine. Loads can be processed in under 30 min from start of loading to unloading.  Single Auger, drive in at 540 PTO rpm from a 80 hp tractor to a massive planetary drive gearbox with auger speed of 41 rpm.  The single Auger features the slide plate patented Auger that has 9 knifes as standard. Additional Alexander knifes and lower flight mounted Vertical Knifes best suited for those cutting up fodder beet and other tubers. It can fit up to a maximum of 13 blades per auger on all 5000 series Jaylor. With Jaylor-patented, low mounted, square cut augers the mixing time and the superior blend is second to none. Chain slats for the standard 6 ft, 41 inch discharge elevator ensure no messy build-up of feed under the rollers like on conveyer belt systems.  Warranties on these machines are very generous.
