2018 has been another jam-packed year for Total Ag. We have had a busy year with several big events and supplying customers with new and used machines, parts, servicing as well as some great competitions and giveaways! It has been our second successful year as Total Ag Solutions both in our Tassie branches and our branch in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Agfest 2018

Agfest was our biggest event this year and our site was our best yet. We brought our best machines to display, including the Fendt 1000, Massey Ferguson Self Propelled Spray Unit, Kubota M7 and Spartan Great Plains Drill. Amy, Total Ag Marketing & Event Coordinator, said that it was great to see so many families at the event. “We were bombarded with so many kids on Saturday on our site. It was so great to see the kids loving sitting in the tractors and excavators wanting to buy one with their pocket money. That is what I love about Agfest is connecting the Ag industry with the ‘townies’ and seeing how much interest there is there”. We are excited to bring even better and bigger ideas to the table at this years Agfest.

Massey Ferguson 60th Birthday

Total Ag also attended the Huon Show and the Scottsdale Show in 2018. Our sales team attended the Kubota National Dealer Conference which was held in Hobart in October, this is where they had early views of the new machinery Kubota is releasing in 2019.

Massey Ferguson celebrated its 60th birthday this year, which is a huge milestone. Massey Ferguson has held it’s undisputable reputation for 60 years and has always been a popular and successful brand in Tasmania. The biggest selling Massey Ferguson tractor over-time was the MF135 which was introduced in 1964.

Throughout the year we held several competitions and giveaways on our Facebook page, the most popular competitions proved to be our kid’s giveaways. We had an overwhelming response for our Agfest Kid’s Pedal Tractor giveaway and another overwhelming response from the Kubota Kid’s Pack giveaway. The photos we received for the Kid’s Pack giveaway were all worthy of a prize and we absolutely loved seeing all the wonderful little helpers on the farm. We have also had several new staff join our Total Ag family in 2018. Dannielle Weeks has started in Accounts Payable and Jake Bentley started as our Trainee Parts Interpreter both in our Devonport branch. Sonia Prestage started in our Hobart branch and Amy Fowler joined our Wagga team both as Administration. It is great to have new energetic staff regularly joining the team as we grow.

2019 is now here and we are excited to see what this year will bring.
